Fédération Régionale des cuma de l’Ouest (FRcuma Ouest) is the regional federation of CUMA of the West (Brittany, Normandy and Pays de la Loire). CUMA stands for Farm Machinery Cooperative. It is an agricultural cooperative where farmers share machinery, labour, sheds, training, and workshops needed for their agricultural activity. FRcuma Ouest represents 2,200 CUMA and their 55,000 farmers members at the level of the West of France. FRCUMA Ouest’s actions are frequently related to experimentation and testing with farmers. We seek to integrate more innovative solutions into the operation of CUMAs. The board of directors of FRCUMA Ouest is made up of farmers. FRcuma Ouest is a partner in the Erasmus+ projects TerraTech and AgriFoodForFuture.
