In Italy for example, SIP6 focuses on sustainable carrot and vegetable production, Farmers can use Farm Management System platform developed by Farmotpia partners Agricolus for smarter irrigation and fertilization decisions. The platform integrates field mapping, task management, weather forecasting, crop prediction tools, and prescription maps, all tailored to small farms.
In Slovenia and Ukraine, SIP5 applies digital technologies to arable farming, combining satellite data, UAV monitoring, weather information, soil data, and farm management tools. The aim is to support more targeted decisions related to fertilisation, crop monitoring, and harvest planning while improving efficiency and soil health.
Within SIP 10, the ABS Veggie platform by Agro Budget System, built upon the existing ABS platform, combines remote sensing, drone data, and farm-level activity monitoring. The solution helps small-scale vegetable producers make better decisions, manage crops more efficiently, and improve sustainability. A Digital Field Book integrated into the platform also enables farmers to track field operations, supporting traceability and more transparent production.
