Farmtopia is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with INCiTiS-FOOD, an initiative developing innovative and sustainable food production systems that strengthen local food value chains and improve urban and peri-urban food resilience. While INCiTiS-FOOD focuses on sustainable food production and circular food systems, Farmtopia supports farmers by making digital technologies more accessible and practical for everyday agricultural decision-making. Together, the projects contribute to a more sustainable, resilient and digitally connected agri-food sector.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration through joint dissemination and communication activities, e.g coordinated press releases, cross-promotion of project achievements, participation in conferences, webinars and stakeholder events, and the exchange of knowledge and good practices. Farmtopia and INCiTiS-FOOD will also explore additional opportunities to collaborate in promoting innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture and food systems.
By joining forces, the two projects will help accelerate the transition towards more sustainable and digitally enabled food systems.
